Let the picture paint itself."
Born in West Tennessee and having spent much of my youth living in Indiana, I now live in Jackson, Tennessee.
I am a self-taught artist, developing my painting abilities for more than twenty years. After becoming an empty-nester and having always been drawn to the uniqueness of watercolor, I purchased a book on watercolor, a pad of paper, a brush with three tubes of paint, and the rest is history. My art has evolved from realism with a twist to a more contemporary style of bold and vibrant geometric abstracts.
My memberships include the Tennessee Watercolor Society, the Southern Watercolor Society, and the Jackson Visual Arts Association. I feel blessed to have received a number of awards over the years and I continue daily to explore the world of water media.
